Feodor started his sailing career at the age of 7 years old under the Optimist class. He has received the award of the youngest sailor from Cyprus Sailing Federation for two consecutive years, from 2015 to 2016. Since 2018 Feodor has represented Cyprus at the European and World Optimist championships, achieving a first ever Gold Fleet status for a Cypriot male athlete in both championships.
His performance has been recognized by International Optimist Dinghy Association as the ‘’Best Ever’’ performance of a Cypriot sailor and this result is still standing up to today.
It is noteworthy to mention that at the same period Feodor won his first medal ( 3rd place), outside Cyprus, at the ‘’Pastrikakia’’ regatta and also won with his team the Thessaloniki Optimist Team Race.
During 2022, he is a member of the Cyprus National Team of ILCA4 and participated in various regattas, Europeans and World competitions. The highlights of these performances were the Gold medal at the Germany Europa Cup 2022, Gold medal in the pre-World Championship regatta and the 6th place U16 and 19th place overall at the ILCA4 Youth Championship in Portugal.
Feodor is an athlete who has passion for the sport and who will always strive to achieve excellence.
Feodor has been awarded several tuition scholarships for the years 2018 to 2022 for his academic performance.
